Body Contour - About us

Hips or Flanks

Flank fullness is a common problem and contributes to the spare tyre look around the middle. It can also cause clothes to ride up uncomfortably and often removing only a relatively small amount of fat makes a considerable difference to the contour of the region. It is also a common problem for men - the so called "love handles"

Hips and waist are very commonly requested areas.  Because of their narrower pelvis, men find that a collection of fat in the region between pelvis and waist becomes very obvious.  This same collection makes women's hips look quite large especially if they also have heavy tops of thighs.  Reducing the muffin top effectively lengthens the appearance of  their torso.
Waists (above the hip at the sides) thicken as we age making us look very boxy, and treating this area will give us more of an hour glass shape. This is often treated at the same time as the abdomen.
